Hi, exuse my bad english. I live in Norway and the Mercury dealers here are hopless, so i thought maybe someone here my be able to help.
We have a Quicksilver 630wa at our summerplace by the sea and the Mercury has started to play up the last year. The problem is a bit hard to explain but, it seems to struggel to adjust the revs up or down when you make sudden changes on the throttle. The problem is worst at low revs when changing gear or sharp throttle up's and down's. This makes it stop sometimes, wich is un-cool when you are docking and need revers trust.. (starts again with just looking at the key)
The engine is well maintained and not much used over the years, allways been like a swiss watch. IAC valve and thermostat is changened without any luck. Tried conncting Yamaha YDS diagnostic software as this engine shares much with the Yamaha 115 4-stroke but that did not work.
Can add that the engine above this is like normal to use, strong and smooth.
