03 Johnson Bombardier fuel pump problems?

I have a 2003 Johnson Bombardier 150 HP motor (J150PLSTM), that up until the last two times on the water ran great. 2 weeks ago the day before I went out I started the motor and it started and ran fine. The next day it was hard to start and it died after the first 4 or 5 starts, then it ran fine for the next few hours. Then it quit and the no oil light and buzzer sounded, I stopped the motor. The oil tank was half full, I restarted the motor the light was off and the buzzer quit and the motor ran fine the rest of the way to the dock. I inspected the motor and everything looked fine.

The day before yesterday, I started the motor which was hard to start at first then it ran. Yesterday at the dock it would not start, so I removed the cover and tried again, I noticed that the throttle bodies were dry, I covered the throttle body intakes and tried to start the motor. I turned it off and it started right up, as I tried to leave the dock it quit running. After that it would start and quit, I pump the hand ball and it would run as long as I pumped the ball.

At the house I inspected the engine for any loose or bad hoses, none were found. As I pumped the ball I could heard gas going through the system, the ball got firm but not hard. Later I noticed gas dripping from the lower end, I think it was from the exhaust.

I checked the fuel tank, fuel filter and gas line from the tank to the motor, nothing was bad.

I did an compression check 1 - 115 psi, 2 - 110 psi, 3 - 100 psi, 4 - 110 psi, 5 - 100 psi and 6 - 95 psi

I don't want to just start changing parts out, so does this sound like the fuel pump or a leak i have not found. My book covers up to 140 HP and 200 HP and above, is there a book that covers the 2001 to 2004 Johnson Bombardier 150 HP?

What is the condition of the plugs? Wet, Dry. Sounds like engine is possibly flooding, A damaged fuel pump is possible

Sounded a little bit like OIS pump in the beginning of your description with the No oil horn coming on. If the pump is not pumping fuel then it's not pumping oil either. (Careful about you becoming the fuel pump by pumping the bulb. You are not getting any oil that way.) You should add oil to your fuel until you get this figured out. The last part of your description sounds more like carburetors are flooding. The OIS system only has one pulse line. If it had a bad diaphragm you should only have one wet cylinder?
Take the air box off & pump up the bulb to see if the carb seats are holding.
Sounds like the manual you have may have skipped this later style engine. There are service manuals for this motor. I would stick with a factory manual.
