02 xr6 150 hp 2 stroke starting issues! Help.

I have a 2002 150 xr6 that will start on a shot of carb fluid ( yes I know this is bad for two strokes) but will continually run off the gas tank once running. The previous owner bipassed the mechanical fuel pump and went electric. I feel that the electric pump isn’t priming the carbs at the same time or flooding them ? need some suggestions as to why it won’t cold start. Probably removing the electric pump and going back mechanical. Thanks

Does you motor use an enrichener instead of a choke? If so, it may not be working.

Not sure on those newer motors.
