    Volvo aq260 stalls if I go below 1100 rpms

    My Volvo aq260 will not idle in neutral. When I start it I have to put it in gear for it to stay on. When I slowly move it towards neutral it stalls when it gets to about 1100 rpms. Any help will be appreciated.

    Choke not attached, could that be the problem?

    My Volvo aq260 is stalling when I put it in gear, I have to gun the throttle to get it to go. I took the carburetor off and noticed the choke was not connected, could that be the problem?

    Engine stalls when put in gear.

    I have a Volvo aq260 in my boat. I can crank it up and run it but as soon as I put it in gear it stalls out. I have to gun it for it to catch and then it runs fine. But I have to gun it every time to get it to go. This is my first boat and I need help.

    Compatible to my Chevy omc 350

    If I end up swapping out my 350 omc long block engine, is there another engine I can just drop in? I have a 84 sea ray and its my first boat.

    Oil shooting out of my pvc valves, whats the problem?

    I was warming my boat up and after 5 minutes, oil started shooting out my pvc valves.I have a Chevy 350 omc long block in my boat. I want to have a semi idea of the problem before I take it in to the shop. Please help!!!!!!
