    1994 Yamaha 9.9 Engine Problems...Please Help!

    I recently change the oil in the motor. Since changing is I have been out fishing twice and tonight the motor ran for about two hours no problems and then suddenly shut off...no sputters just shut off. It started back up right away but then would run for about 5-10mins and shut off again...

    Problem with 1994 Yamaha 9.9 hp holding steady speed

    I am having problems with the throttle keeping a constant speed. The throttle likes to return back to idle. This motor has the tiller handle throttle control. Can somebody please give me some steps to do to repair this. Thanks.
