    Ignition problem

    only getting spark to one coil only getting spark to one coil on a 86 merc 35hp we even switched coil packs to see what would happen and the left side is still not getting spark. we cleaned all connectors and ground wires. but still no luck any body have any clue what it could be thanks Eric

    86 merc 35 not sure where shor 86 merc 35 not sure where short pos & neg wires go from the main harness. i know the long ones go to the battery. also there is a black wire coming off the starter solenoid attached with the yellow wire leading to the starter(circled in red) the black one is not...
