    1996 4.3 oilpan leak

    I have a rebult 4.3 Vortec that has a leaky oilpan gasket,I replaced the gasket in the boat and it still leaks. my question is when i am reinstalling the engine do I need to pull the out drive, it is a volvo penta dp to line up the shaft? Their is plenty of space around the engine to install it...
