    2006 BF225 Constant alarm when engine cranks up

    OMG Sorry for not checking the forum and seeing your post. I gave up trying to figure out the problem. Never figured it out. I even took my gauges to Gauge Saver in Greencove Springs, florida and had them refurbished just in case they were the problem.

    I forgot to mention that when I turn the key on the alarm does sound off for about 1 second like a chirp sound and then stops. Its my understanding that's a normal function to let you know that the alarm system is operating correctly. Is that correct?

    2007 honda 225hp outboard runs rough at idle when first cranked up for about 2 minutes, then check engine light comes on smoothes out and runs perfect? doesn't matter if engine is cold or already warmed up to normal operating Temp.
