    he unhook every wire on the solenoid I think I found the wire to the starter a big red wire from the bottom of the solenoid to the starter and the wires that go to the top of the solenoid. I also found a small black wire for the small post but I cant find any other wires at all for the other...

    starter and solenoid

    I have a 1980 Johnson v4 115hp. I need help with the wiring from the motor to the solenoid to the starter. I payed a guy to put a new starter on my boat but all he did was unhook all the wires. I need all the help I can get.... thanks
