    1975 25hp 25R75B. Think I have 1975 25hp 25R75B. Think I have most of my problems solved thanks to all you guys. Many thanks again. What are all the reasons for shearing prop pins? Besides hitting something.. I took my prop off and I had to straighten the pin before I could remove it.

    I have a 1975 25hp Johnson. Wh I have a 1975 25hp Johnson. When I take off I don't get far after planning out if (I make it to plane) the motor stalls. Looking back at exhaust I notice steam. Motor doesn't feel to hot to touch so I start again. Looking back at prop it seems that it is slipping...
