    '72 Merc 800 -- Location of #1 spark plug wire on distributor cap?

    I just want to verify that I put the wires in the right holes. I put #1 in the second hole counter-clockwise from the vent on the cap, with the firing order of 1, 3, 2, 4. Is that correct? Thanks.
