Hi I have checked water pump and housing both brand new. She’s pumping water but looks a bit weak. I’ve changed both thermostats, 3 water sensors and the popppet valve. CheersHave you replaced the water pump recently with a new impeller etc? Is the outboard pumping lots of water through the telltale?
Tgsnks for that. Do you have to remove the mid section to change them? I’m guessing yes and is there anything I need to be weary of if I remove it? CheersHi,
No picture attachment came through so you may want to try again.
I'm guessing the grommet you're being told about could be one of two grommets used to seal both the upper and the lower end of the water tube (item 7 in link below) that directs water from the pump into the engine block.
The lower tube grommet....at the water pump outlet....is item 12
The upper tube grommet is also item 12 in link below:
Either of those grommets can be knocked loose or damaged when the water tube is moved. As you can see in the last link, Honda made an effort to secure the tube and upper grommet with a plate clamp (13) and a bolt (36).
HTHY
Good luck.
