Is Honda bf5 the quietest 5hp outboard

Hello

I would like to know if anyone knows of a quieter engine? It’s because we intend to go on rivers. Also what is the best anti noise cowling insulation to get?
I don’t like the support that Torqueedo and Epropulsion provide. Heard a lot of complaints

I'm confused about your question.
Are you shopping for a gas outboard or an electric?

I don't believe Honda offers an electric outboard but I could be mistaken.

As far as insulation goes, I believe that the electric makes the preponderance of it's noise under water. Insulating the "powerhead" probably wouldn't lower decibels.

Insulating the powerhead on a gas outboard could result in the engine overheating and damage.

You may want to reconsider doing that in either case.
