    Have been looking for oils grease and lubes shown in my repair manual but mercury apparently stopped making them. Not surprised my outboard is 38 years old.     Thanks to all! I will start with water pump impeller have watched several videos. one of which is my engine. Any one have a good replacement for the the different lubes. Cant find 2-4-c anywhere. And what type of lubercant goes back into my lower unit?

    Ser# A198175 Need to know about the carbs. Mine is a 4cyl. but has only two carbs. Is this correct? Have i bought a pig in a poke. I see in all manuals i can find that i should have 4. 1 top, 1 bottom, 2 middle of the same part number. Top and bottom have two separate part numbers. also if...
