    So started the removal today. Got the starter out of the way and still cant access the top of the shift linkage. About to remove the carbs and try for access that way. My real problem here though is that sometime in the past, someone as done this and lost the bolt/screw for the linkage...

    I have an 83 Evinrude 115 on the back of the boat. Runs a treat off the muffs, but when in the water it does not have reverse Confirmed shifter connections are tight at the top and moves everything around, if we adjust the trundles at the top we can get reverse in the water but lose forward...
