    Today I replaced all three spark plugs, upon testing the motor with a water filled water trough, I noticed the motor was getting hot and seen some black soot in the water coming from the exhaust. Is there a way to tell if the impeller is bad without tearing it apart? I ordered a new one today...

    It literally looks like they just push in and contact. My plug wires are corroded so I want to switch them out. I think the boat running choppy has something to do with that
