    tricky to start johnson 150 jet

    I seem to be able to start it every time and get it going but it is a process. I have to activate the red primer lever underneath the engine cover, then start it, it will run for 20 seconds then stall, i do it again, and again it runs for a bit and then stalls, after that i can't start it...

    do i have to remove the impeller to get to the water pump or do i have to remove the lower unit too? i have a johnson 150 thanks

    first start up smoke

    i have a johnson j150, when i start it up (connected to the hose) it smokes quite a bit down just by the jet is this normal? is this the fogging oil from storing it over the winter? sorry if this is obvious, i am new to this. thanks

    i have a johnson 150 1999, does anyone know how to get the red primer lever(valve ass) off the motor thanks
