    1968 Johnson 6hp Compression Test

    Hi, I have a 1968 6hp Johnson motor, doesn't want to start. Tested the compression and got 85psi on the top cylinder and 80 on the bottom. I'm completely new to outboard motors. Do I have a compression issue? What is the standard psi range I should expect to see? Any help is much appreciated!
