    temp switch?

    Will a bad temperature switch keep the engine from firing? 1997 Evinrude 3 cyl 35 hp? The steady alarm came on, then the motor shut down. it will crank but not fire. There was a good stream from the tell-tale.

    1997 Primer Solenoid question

    One of the two small lines from the primer solenoid is broken off. These both go the the carbs. Will one of them being broken off keep the engine from starting all together?

    Plenty of fuel but no fire

    Hello All, I have a 1997 Evinrude 35, 3 cyl. that is getting plenty of fuel to the carbs but when I pull the plugs out they are bone dry and it won't start. It ran until it heated up and spark was intermittent so we replaced the power pack but now shes a no-go. Any thoughts? TIA!

    Kill switch question

    Will a 1998 35 hp Evinrude turn over if the kill switch is active? Does the kill switch cut power to the starter or just the spark?

    Electrical short between starter gear and flywheel

    Howdy. I have an 18 horse Mercury twin cylinder. It has a new starter and solenoid. And we replaced one of the coils.
