    1996 Evinrude RPM Issue

    I have a 60 hp Evinrude that will not rev higher then 3800 rpm. It starts and idles fine. I start giving it the throttle and it runs smooth to 3800 then starts breaking up and shaking, the more throttle I give it the more it breaks up and shakes.
