    Yes, I agree. I had considered that as well. The thing thats weird is nothing is locked up, I even pull the plug on the offending cylinder and pushed the piston down with no effort. The engine still spins freely as well

    Went out this weekend, 2004 24' Proline single outboard 2004 225 Honda. The motor has about 115hrs on it, never had any issues, always runs smooth. Was running at 5000k RPMs, boat was doing fine and without warning the motor thew a rod, broke the block. Any know issues with 2004/225s? The boat...
