    Intermediate Cyl. loss ' 1975 6hp. Johnson

    Posted a little while back about the same motor. re-ringed the cylinders a few weeks back and motor will fire up 2nd pull cold and first pull warm every time. Accelerates fine, but seems to have an intermediate shutdown on one cylinder now and then. The motor will run great for hours on end...

    '1975 Johnson 6hp, new rings, no fuel.

    I just replaced the rings on a '75 Johnson 6hp and went to give it the first test run and am not getting any fuel from the carb to the cylinders. I am however able to run the motor temporarily by pouring a small amount of gasoline into the carb. The float bowl is filling with fuel as well. The...
