    I believe I got it handled. Did not have a crank position sensor so I jumped the obd terminals with the rinda codemate and set base timing to 10deg BTDC. Took it out and runs good. Small hiccup every once in a while though left to be determined.

    Thanks for the input/advice. I have found this today that I might add to the toolbox. https://www.rinda.com/rindashop/shop/codemate/94008 Seems like a cheap easy way to set the base timing and one day(but not hopefully) be able to flash the fault codes.
