    77 Johnson help

    I just got my first boat and it has a 77 140 hp Johnson on it. I can get it to start with the choke on with ether but it will not idle , it does when you turn the choke completely off. I thing a carb cleaning would fix this issue but my biggest question is, is the motor a 2 stroke or 4 stroke...
