    Tilt and trim problem for 1997 40 hp yamaha outboard

    when hitting the tilt and trim when hitting the tilt and trim. sometimes it just makes a clicking sound. more so when trying to raise it. bumping the swith you can hear a clicking noise. if you hit it 2-3 times it will work. my fluid levels are good could this be a relay switch gone bad?

    I have a pair of 1978 671 ti t I have a pair of 1978 671 ti that got wet. Are they worth rebuilding.Boat is in great shape but it was sunk.Any help would be great.was told it was brackish water. THANKS
