    I've bought the boat 3 years ago. I don't know when the previous owners changed it. I was under the impression I could just use 2 drywall screws to pull them out (prop shaft seals).

    Thanks guys, I turned the drive upside down and noticed that the shaft didn't have movement any longer. I will just try my luck and reseal the unit with new oil seals :)

    I changed the impeller 2 years ago. Oil was fine. Filled it up again with Quicksliver gear oil. Now two seasons later I see this.

    For the record, in my video I demonstrate sidewards movement (Only at 22 seconds I show up/down movement in the video). I am curious if that sidewards movement is okay or that it should be firm like the propshaft is.

    Thanks for the checklist will do that next! Currently I'm trying to remove the old shift cable from the bellhousing... And yeah, I'm totally screwed at the moment. The brass nut was so tight my wrench rounded off the nut till a point the socket spins freely around the nut having no grip :(...
