    Oil leak Mercury 175hp

    I noticed gear lube leaking from the water inlet on my Mercury 175hp (Black Max) early 90's model year any idea why the gear lupe would leak from thias area? A new water pump was installed last year, no leaks at that time, no water in oil. Thanks
