    Fuel Pump Failures

    2000, 5.0L, Mercruiser Alpha. Have owned for seven years with no problems until 2011 season. Engine started just fine at start of season. Shutdown for about an hour and would not start again. Mechanic checked the usual and determined the fuel pump was bad. New replacement did not work...
