I managed to get my waterline connected, ran the engine and water was circulating great. I came back an hour later, fired the motor again and no water. Any ideas what may have happened. Gremlins maybe. I also noticed the alarm on the ignition switch continued to go offer after the motor started.
Everything is as it was when I replaced the pump. The issue is that the waterline isn't in a fixed position so it doesn't line up with the grommet. When I get lined up and try to push the bottom end up you can't tell if it went in or not until you drop it in the water and test it.
When I bought the boat it came with the valve installed with one line blocked off and as I described. The other valve was leaking. Trying make sure it's connected properly
What have now is a line runs off the switch to a tee.. Off tee one line goes to the carb the other to the intake manifold. Would I eliminate that tee and run one side of switch to the carb and the other side to the manifold ???
I have recently replaced the electric primer pump on my 30 HP Johnson. The pump has to outlets I assume for a motor with twin carbs. I have the extra line plugged with a screw. Any other suggestions on what to do with the extra outlet
