    i took my new boat out today [ i took my new boat out today [new to me]we had no engine problems but is was my first time in the river and it seemed to have a loss of power ?is it possible the prop was slipping or cavitating and boiling the water cant get power from steam right?

    i was wondering if anyone know i was wondering if anyone knows if the prop cone on the outdrive is right hand thread or left need to change anode and el thanks the ports at the exhaust bellow were clogged with carbon and rust good flow now

    my question is i have a 1987 b my question is i have a 1987 barretta the sea water pump is new when running in dry dock there is no water out the exhaust this boat sat a while previous owner can the manifolds clog? any help would be appreciated ps i do have water going to it
