    I have a 25 hp 4 stroke, 2004 model. When boat is loaded and is unable to get up on plane, the engine acts like it pops out of gear on occasion. All drive to the prop stops, the engine jumps in RPM's. To fix it I just let the engine idol down and put the shifter in neutral and back into drive...
