    My thought exactly. I did try it with the muffs blocked to hold the water but the water still came out the intakes. The other option is to take the guards off and try and plug the holes directly. Thanks again.

    Thank you for your response and the Part #21. I do have an attachment that fits but I will try this. I have tried blocking the intake holes but not as easy sounds! Very helpful and I will try it again and follow your suggestions. Thanks

    I bought this engine second hand a few years ago and it works great, almost like new. Problem I have is I operate in salt water and I have been trying to flush the engine with the flush port on the shaft next to the port for the lower gear oil.
