    Help Identify this Merc 9.9 on steroids

    Here is a shot of the 9.9. I guessed it to be roughly a '76 20hp. You can't see it in this picture but it says 9.9 on the rear of the cowling. Will try to get better photos over the weekend.

    Have a Merc outboard serial # 4355432 that has decals on it that say its a 9.9hp. However, its the biggest 9.9 anyone has ever seen. Suspect that it has a past history of fishing many of the Department of Natural Resources lakes that have a 10hp max engine limit. And we all realize that a...
