    Overheating alarm

    My '01 mercury 225 optimax thru a constant alarm yesterday while flushing it after a long day 30 miles out. On the smartcheck gauge it read temp was at 180. Which is normally around 127. I immediately shut motor off. My buddy didn't turn waters picket wide open at the house. I tried it again...
