    my new mercury outboard

    I bought a used 1997 meruy 90 HP outboard. Are top cowling covers interchangable? Can a mercury cowling fit a force or marine motor making it looking like a mercury when it really isnt? I cant find any stickers or paper lables it identifying the mfg. Thank you
