    Replace Aq125a with aq125b or will Aq131d

    So I have bad block and need to replace my Aq125a, my choices are getting a rebuilt block which is fairly expensive or drop another motor in. I have two in state I have found, a aq125b and an aq131d... will either of these motors drop right in? It appears they both have the different b230 block...

    Volvo Penta AQ125A Boggs down under load and dies, milky oil

    So made it out to lake yesterday after replacing water pickup, impeller and maintenance items. Engine runs fine and will rev up nice but as soon as I put in gear and go 100yards she bogs down at anything higher than idle speed and will kill... I can tool and pubs at idle speed but anything...

    Aq125a engine looses sea water prime after 10 minutes - Help!

    Hello y’all, I’ve spent a fair bit of time reading on this forum and now am in need of help! I have an aq125a that I just replaced thermostat, and impeller with gaskets... I ran the 270 sterndrive a couple different ways with both muffs and in a tub of water, put an earplug in the drain hole...
