    Interchangeable Johnson Controls?

    Will the controls for my Johnson 40hp Outboard work for a Johnson 90hp? My boat has a 1991 Johnson 40hp 2-stroke outboard on it right now. J40TLEIA I want to put a 2001 Johnson 90hp 2-stroke outboard on the boat, will i be able to swap the outboards and keep the same controls?

    Johnson Outboard Mounting

    Just bought a boat that came with a 40 hp Johnson(2-stroke). I might go and buy a 115 Evinrude (2-stroke) this weekend. Are all hole patterns the same allowing the 115 to mount in the same place of the 40?
