    How can I tell if I have a 150 or V150 Serial number 6635236. I bought a Clymer manual, but it covers everything from 72 to 89 and 45 to 225!

    1985 150 Black Max Tilt Trim?

    Can you bench test a tilt trim unit. I know there won't be a load, but can it be done? Mine is shot, but I was able to find one that works, but I have to use my motor. Before I change it out, I would like to be sure it is going to work.
