    1970bs merc 500 reverse skip

    When i shift from neutral to r When i shift from neutral to reverse the prop spins and clicks. Forward works fine... suggestions? Changed impeller tested in a water drum reverse/forward worked great. Took to the dock first time out and no reverse. Bad start to 5am sunday mornin fishing!
