    200hp optimax will not idle down

    I have a 2001 optimax 200hp th I have a 2001 optimax 200hp that i put a new set of plugs and put it in the water and the engine will not idle down its running about 2000 rpms and its very hard to shift into foward or reverse. I put the old plugs back and still the same problem any ideas?
