    A few questions. What is the spline count? Are these through hub exhaust? Best prop diameter and pitch. Boat is 11ft whaler 400 to 600lb max weight. Want to go fast.

    Okay, just returned from testing on the lake and the engine issue has been fixed. I installed a new OEM pump kit and the water stream was much better at idle and at higher RPMs. The old impeller was most likely cavitating resulting in an overheat and triggering the temp cut out switch.

    My problem was whenever I would get on plane, I would lose the water stream and the temp switch would make engine surge. At low rpm it would start pumping again... could this be the culprit?

    I was able to get the cables to work in the controller. Its the cable housing ends that are giving me grief.

    I have purchased the conversion kit from ME and I had purchased the cables below since this is going on an 11ft Whaler and these were the shortest I could find. I'm having trouble installing the shift cable into the cable anchor on the side of the cowl. Then I install it it just slides around...
