    Back to the over heat discusstion....only two tubuler diverters but another piece of rubber that appeared to be flat but a closer look shows it was tubuler 1" long but smashed flat. Not sure but only location for it could be at the top of the upper cylinder. In that location it would line up...

    That's what i've been told. In the process of ordering. If that doesn't fix the problem will have to take off the engine block to check for any other foreign debris. After that I'm out of ideas. Thanks for your reply.

    Yes, checked in a pan of water. Opening at 143. Tried running without but still overheating. Opened the power head found two pieces of rubber hose in the water jacket around the cylinders....told they're supposed to be in there...water directional. Also a piece of rubber looks like maybe a piece...

    New water pump, thermostat pumping lots of water. Appears no blockages. Witts end. Could leaky head gasket or too lean gas mix cause overheating? Runs fine until the warning. Owned for 7 years never needed to touch the engine.
