    Model number or serial number was 18603C. I already put a new rope in it. One very interesting thing is that the upper half of the engine looks to have been red originally, so possibly someone rebuilt this with a Johnson cylinder? This thing also looks like it had been repainted at least 3...

    I jumped straight to starter and did everything properly and it won’t spin. I removed the starter and wire brushes the terminals and ground and still nothing. I don’t know what could be wrong inside the starter. It has been sitting for god knows how long and I am getting it running so any help...
