    60 hp merc over heats

    I have a 1990, 60 hp merc that overheats. It has a new water pump, I have had it into the shop and they can't find anything wrong. It does not have a thermostat, just an alarm, and the water coming out of the pee hole is hot after runnig it for a while at about 4000 rpm. Definitely not full...
