    Tachometer to ignition coil

    Just bought a 2002 deck boat with a 1998 305 CID 5.0L with Thunderbolt V. Tach not working. Connections on back OK. I noticed that there is only one grey wire on negative terminal of ignition coil. Manual says should be 2; one to tach and one from the ignition module. No evidence broken wire...
