    Any advice on how to clean would be appreciated. I up ended the motor an ran some salt remover in pick up telltale etc . No luck unfortunately

    Defiantly no hose coming out of near the thermostat. Any outboard I've worked on always has a hose you can usually get to , to blow out etc on the telltale .

    Ok thank you I will drop it in a big bucket so it's fully covered . Can you confirm the telltale is connected to the exhaust in anyway . As it seems to have a indent in the housing from the telltale hole towards the exhaust if that makes sense . I've also tried to blow air an also use a syringe...

    The pick up is underneath . Yes I've run in a bucket . Can't promise it was 6 inches above impeller though.
