    Aside from attaching the needle to the float, setting the pin in the seat, then installing the pivot pin to the float, is there something else that I could have screwed up? The spec of 1-3/8” to 1-5/8 float angle I checked and double checked.

    It was the Amazon Chinese kit. I trust that OMC/Bombardier has nothing made in China.

    In the carb rebuild kit, needle and seat were replaced, float adjusted. The result is as if I had done nothing.

    My E28ESLESM Evinrude has issues. It runs very rich, despite what adjustment is made with the air/fuel needle. I turn it till it seats and back out, merely to removing it and it still runs poorly. I removed the plugs and they are soaked with fuel. When I crank the engine with plugs out, it...
