Hi, it's me again! It's a 93 Evinrude 90hp outboard that's been recently rebuilt. The fuel consumption on this thing is poor at best (20 gallons in about two hours), engine backfires, and misses badly at WOT. Ideas? Thanks in advance.
Soon after replacing the starter solenoid on my 1993 Evinrude 90HP, the tach went crazy and no longer works. What did I do or not do to cause this? Thanks in advance!
Newly rebuilt engine/carbs... runs smooth from 0 to 2500 rpm. 2500 to 4000 rpm it will run rough (misses, skips). Runs smooth after 4000 rpm. New plugs after 10 hour break-in period. Dead battery replaced with new one. Poured bottle of Sea Foam, no change. Could voltage regulator be the culprit...
