    a few people have told me they started using different components on the engines around that time which has run great for the 10 years I've owned it apart from hydrolocked due to exhaust risers rusting away

    hi there thanks for your reply my engine has a balanced shaft but not a vortec so can I fit the adjustable heads to it as they look identical apart from the studs for the rockers

    hi all new to site rebuilding my 92 mercruiser 4.3 non vortec I had torque down rockers on my heads can I just change the heads for adjustable rockers as the heads look exactly the same even the rockers apart frome the studs ajustable and torque down
