    Hi all , i have an early 80's 6hp 2stroke tohatsu ,6a im told and my problem is im getting gear oil leak up through the cylindrical brass piece that the shift rod goes through,the oil actualy passes between this brass piece and shift rod is there an internal seal in the brass piece or some sort...

    old evinrude water pumping

    hi,i have an old 5.5 fisherman that needs to be reved hard to get it to start pumping water ,once its pumping it pumps well till you stop again and have to rev it hard again does it mean my water pump is bad or the impeller maybe ,any help greatly appreciated
